"The discovery a 4.4 million-year-old Ardipithecus skeleton rewrites the story of human!"

Fossils radically alter ideas about the look of man's earliest ancestors

Analysis of a near-complete skeleton of a human ancestor found in Ethiopia changes scientists' thinking about the appearance and behavior of our distant forebears.

Oct. 1, 2009 -- The world's oldest and most complete skeleton of a potential human ancestor -- named "Ardi," short for Ardipithecus ramidus -- has been unveiled by an international team of 47 researchers.

One researcher was interviewed about what more details can he unveiled to everyone and he said "This is not an ordinary fossil," added White, a paleontologist in the University of California at Berkeley's Human Evolution Research Center. "It's not a chimp. It's not a human."

Instead, he said, "It shows us what we used to be."

What does "Ardi" tell us?
The discovery of this 4.4 million-year-old woodland biped, with small, blunt canine teeth, hints that much of our unique sexual anatomy and physiology --even our families and the way we walk -- may all be fundamentally linked.

And far more ancient than ever imagined.

Click through this slide show and learn what the biggest takeaways are from the discovery of Ardipithecus.
Oldest Homonid Skeleton.
Ardi's extensive skeletal remains -- skull, jaw, hands, foot, pelvis, arms and legs -- confirm that by 4.4 million years ago our hominid ancestors were fully bipedal. They were capable of a primitive form of upright walking, while retaining ape-like grasping feet that facilitated tree climbing.

Ardi walked upright to get around on the ground, but she could take to the trees when needed. This unique combination of a primitive grasping big toe in the foot of a biped has never been seen before.

Since later hominids, like Lucy, were full-time bipeds, Ardi may represent a critical phase between our four-limbed palm-walking ape ancestors and the exclusive bipedality of later hominids, an "evolutionary mosaic" combining ape-like with human-like.

Beer Pong Trick Shot

Have you guys played or tried beer pong trick shot? They say this is the new game that everybody loves to spend a lot of time. When I surfed the internet yesterday, few people asked how they do that? Where can i buy those things and how the "HELL" that happened, some stuffs like that. The truth is, I don't have any idea how they do that, but what I think is, it's really quite fun to learn.

Beer Pong is a drinking game played with ping pong balls, where the objective is to try to get the ping pong balls in your opponent's cups of beer. When a ball lands in a defender's cup, the defending team must drink that cup of beer but some people don't really do that, stuffs like drinking beer on the opponents cup, it's just like a challenge to them ^^. There are many variations of the game. For example, if a team plays, it is common for two balls to be used and for the team to try to get both balls into one of their opponent's cups. Some games are played with "re-racking," where players ask their opponents to change the configuration of the cups on the table.

Origin and name

According to the Beer Pong lore the game got its origin at Dartmouth where one day a group of industrious students had a serious problem; They wanted to play ping pong and drink beer at the same time. Putting their ivy league education to good use they realized that they could place cups of beer on the table and try to hit ping pong balls into them as a competitive sport.

That worked perfectly well for Dartmouth kids, but how many regular people want to go through the effort of buying ping pong paddles and actually swinging them? Exactly. So a few years later some lazy students at the University of Wisconsin decided to ditch the paddles and just through the ping pong balls. After this one, it changed the game and it spread like wild fire across the country.

Sometimes newbies want to know why the game is also called beirut. I usually just tell them to shut up and drink. Some people also complain that "It's beirut, not beer pong!" - having fun yet? well check and see the video by yourself :D

"ABOUT ME AND MY GUITAR"

I've been playing guitar for like 4 years now and it seems no gaining for me at all. I didn't go to any school or guitar lesson to learn how to play, just my friend and my family helped me out for some couple of basics on how to play guitar. By now I can consider myself as an average finger style guitarist. I love listening to alternative bands and progressive rock but I do play a lot of 80's songs in my acoustic guitar. My guitar gives one heck of a good harmony whenever I strum it, pluck it and do some finger picking on it hahaha^^ how do I know :P
I had this guitar for a couple of years and actually this guitar in this picture is the 5th acoustic guitar I've ever had, but my 4th was my favorite out of those five guitars that I bought. Anyways I use chords, notes and tabs, but mostly, I use Tabs because it's much reliable for some reasons. ^^

hey there.. ^^

As you guys notice.. I was a little bit off for my today's blog. I'm actually having a hard time to get all pieces put together :(.
Have you guys experienced "TEAMWORK" in your job? Everyone knows that a job is quite hard whether it is skilled or non-skilled, but in the job industry, if you guys don't have teamwork in your company, all the sweat and energy that you give will be nothing. In my case "they're helping while I'm earning" a bit money everyday ^^. I'm not trying to take advantage of their modesty and kindness to me, I just go with the flow and do my best that I can. -FIN- Thanks for checking my little blog for today. Hope you guys get something from it :P
